Booting windows 7 from a SD Card Help.
Hey-- l have a slimmed down version of windows 7 Beta RC. This version has
useless things that l have taken out to reduce the size to make it install
on a 4 GB Flash Drive. l also have a 2 GB SD card, and the ISO is just
around 1.44 GB. How Can l make this SD Card bootable so l can boot the
windows 7 setup from the sd card, and then installl 7 to the USB as a Live
USB--Ps. This IS not supposed to be a permanent OS replacement. />l have Acer Aspire One Netbook and l do not wanna install 7 or mess with the partion--l just want seven to boot up on the usb so l can play around with it. My netbook allows me to boot from the USB, but im not sure about the SD. l know it has a SD reader. l saw a few different things in the Bios, but not sure if any are the SD. If l can not boot from the SD, could l just mount the ISO in Alcohol 52%, then start the installer from my XP, and then set the install directory to my USB, and set my machine to boot from the USB? Im sorry, but l need help. Chris.
You can not boot from the SD card but you can install to your
USB drive from XP.
